Keke Palmer shares a pic of $30,000 a plate dinner at Met Gala and it is not appealing AT ALL
The Met Gala chef, who prepared the vegan menu at the event, which cost $ 30.000 per person, defended the food that was served, saying that it was "very tasty" despite the fact that the guests were not very satisfied.
The food served on Monday night at the annual elite fashion event that draws people from all over the world to the New York Metropolitan Museum was ridiculed after actress Keke Palmer shared a photo of an unappetizing salad on her Instagram story with the description: "This why they don’t show y’all the food, I'm just playing. Marcus Samuelsson helped select the 10 best New York chefs who created the vegan menu at this year's Met Gala. He confirmed for TMZ that the photo that Palmer shared with his 10.5 million followers on Instagram is one of the meals served at the elite event.
It was a plate of barley and roasted mushrooms, with slices of zucchini and corn and tomatoes salad, and Samuelsson claimed that "the food was really tasty, but not everyone has to like it."
Apart from Keke's meal, which seems strange and tasteless to everyone, the guests ate fresh salads, and the dessert was apple mousse served in the shape of an apple. The canapes at the event consisted of a spicy soup, served on cornbread, and watermelon tart was also served. Very miserable for an exorbitant event that has been anticipated all year.
Naturally, the Internet community couldn't have missed the opportunity to have a little bit of fun this time either. See some of their funny responses to Keke's post.
