Khloe Kardashian called out for 'fatshaming' after a viral TikTok resurficed
Khloe Kardashian found herself under fire from critics after a 2019 video appeared in which she attacks overweight people even though she once fought a similar battle herself.
In an interview with podcast host Jay Shetty, she said obese people were to blame for their problem and even said she could not stand them.
"I can't stand people who eat a box of ice cream and say they're fat. And like, they fail to change their diet and start drinking more water. They don't do anything, but they constantly complain," the reality star Khloe Kardashian said, adding that she is particularly annoyed that they are constantly pretending to be victims, and doing nothing to change that.
"You don't want to look at your reflection and ask yourself, 'Okay, what can I do to change myself?' Everyone else is to blame,” Kardashian said.
Numerous Twitter and TikTok users condemned her stance after the video was released. Khloe used to be a favorite among sisters precisely because she was more like "ordinary" people. After that, she completely changed her look, and some commented that she could afford it because she is rich enough to have a team of personal trainers and nutritionists.
"Remember when Khloe was the cutest Kardashian sister?" one Twitter user asked.
Others pointed to her hypocrisy accusing her of having a nice figure because she underwent plastic surgery. In addition, she was critiqued for posting retouched photos on Instagram, which can easily be noticed if you look more carefully at her selfies and videos.
