An icon of the 1990s and early 2000s, Kim Cattrall shone in a fashion campaign for Farfetch that Samantha Jones would definitely approve of.
We missed Samantha Jones since the announcement of the reboot of the series "Sex and the City", while we watched unconvincing scenes in which she communicates with her friends exclusively through messages, her brutally honest remarks, and witty conclusions.
But Kim Cattrall has now returned Samantha's energy and fantastic style to the fashion campaign for the online store Farfetch.
'Fashion icons born of the pop culture of the 1990s, their aesthetics and stylistic approach are so relevant and modern today,' explained Farfetch creative director Yannis Henrion his decision to hire Kim Cattrall and contemporary music divas Maria Isabel and Steve Lacy.
Kim Cattrall, who currently stars in the series 'How I Met Your Father' and 'Queer As Folk', seems to have jumped into the role of adored character Samantha Jones without any problems.
Kim Cattrall wears stylings in the campaign in which we could easily imagine Samantha: for a walk with a Dalmatian in a satin gloss raincoat, and for a business look a very modern, but slightly retro waisted blazer.
But Kim was not only chosen as the embodiment of the irreplaceable Sam Jones: "She is an icon, not only because of her fashion choices but also because she is a real, honest person," Farfetch's creative director told WWD.
Nearly eight years since the favorite comedy “How I Met Your Mother” ended its ninth season in 2014, fans have finally got the spinoff series they’ve been waiting for. The series, titled “How I Met Your Father,” reverses the plot of the original series because a woman named Sophie, played by Hilary Duff, tells her son about how she met, you guessed it, his father.
The series has been described as "a story that catapults us into 2022, where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends discover who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love with an age of dating apps and unlimited possibilities."
