The trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has come to an end, and now everyone is awaiting a jury decision that, after hearing a series of horrific accusations from ex-spouses and numerous witnesses, must assess whether to rule in favor of the actor or actress.

The last day of the trial was held on a special date for Johnny Depp - the 23rd birthday of his daughter Lily-Rose Depp. Since the beginning of the trial, Lily has publicly spoken out about her father's situation, and although she did not comment on the trial itself, her support for her father, with whom she is very close, has never been questioned.

She did not make a specific announcement about the trial, but she took a direct stand for her father after Amber's first allegations of abuse in 2016. She posted on Instagram and made it clear what she thought.  ‘My dad is the sweetest person ever with a lot of love,’ she wrote.

'He is a wonderful father to my younger brother and me, and everyone who knows him would say the same,' she said. That he was proud of his daughter Depp never hid.‘Lily is really shrewd and one of the smartest human beings I’ve ever met,’ he said in a 2015 interview with the Daily Mail.

During this trial, the actor revealed that it was his children who were the reason why he sued his ex-wife for defamation. He wanted to protect them from her lies.

‘News of the allegations somehow shocked the whole industry. Knowing that there was no truth in this, I considered it my responsibility to stand up, not only for myself but also for my children as well. I wanted to cleanse my name because of my children. Those are horrible things that they had to read about their father, and they are untrue, ' he said at the beginning of his testimony. And whether he will be able to clear his name of Amber's accusations, the public will soon find out.
