Mariah Carey challenged Beyoncé to a ‘battle’ of Christmas carols. Who is going to be your favorite in the duel?
There cannot be two divas on the Christmas throne. Mariah Carey revealed she would have invited Beyonce to the Battle of Christmas carols and said her views on the potential diva-off with Beyoncé. Will our Christmas wish come true?
During an exclusive interview for diva Mariah Carey has revealed the answer to the question we have all been waiting for. Asked if she would ever provoke the Beyoncé battle of Christmas carols, she said:
- I love Beyoncé and I admire her so much as a performer for what she has done for the world and everything else - said Carey Diva then continued her thought - I have great self-esteem and I will not do it because it is Christmas time- said Carey.
Carey went on to say she loves the Christmas spirit and wants to bring even more holiday joy with her music and spending quality time with the whole family.
"I decorate, but it is not the same as the actual moment when I am in the snow with my children and we have that moment. That's the real thing, "Carey said with a smile.
She also looked back on her success at the top of the charts as the reigning queen of Christmas music. Carey recently released the single “Fall in Love at Christmas” with Khalid and Kirk Franklin, although she is best known for her Christmas hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You”.And as we listen to Mariah and Khaled sing about falling in love in the family holiday spirit, the next moment Franklin takes us to church reminding us of the power of grace and how much we need it to heal our hearts.
