Michael Jackson's children are adults today, his younger son is wary of the media due to childhood trauma, while his daughter does not hide her dark past

The sudden death of musician Michael Jackson in 2009 shocked many of his fans around the world, and the king of pop left behind his three grieving children.

More than a decade has passed since his death and his children are now adults living very different lives.

He had a son Prince and a daughter Paris with his second wife, nurse Debbie Rowe, while his youngest Biggie was born to a surrogate mother. He raised all three children alone, with the help of his staff at the Neverland estate, and made sure they were well after his death. Namely, he left each one a third of his wealth, which he divided into parts, the last of which they will receive when they turn 40.

Prince Jackson, 24, is the eldest child of the King of Pop and was just 12 years old when he lost his father, after which he was raised by Michel’s family. Unlike many other children of celebrities, he did not follow in his father's footsteps and admitted that he was not talented in dancing and singing, but he was still interested in show business.

Prince has produced music videos for his sister Paris’ band, The Sound Flowers, and would love to become an acclaimed producer, director, screenwriter, and actor, as he revealed to Entertainment tonight, and in recent years he has also dedicated himself to humanitarian work.

Earlier this year, he also gave a rare interview about his late father in which he recalled Michael trying to protect them from fame.

"Some details let me know what was going on, people were following us all the time. There was no special moment when I realized that my father was an international star, but a set of these little situations," he recalled.

"I was watching my father's concert and I think I was 10 or 11 at the time. It was not clear to me why people fainted when they saw him," Prince added, revealing the best advice he received from his father.

“The moment you stop learning, you start dying,” Michael told him. Prince graduated in entrepreneurship at Loyola Marymount University in 2019, and in college, he met his girlfriend Molly Scrimang with whom he has been in a relationship for the past four years.

His younger sister Paris was named after the city she was conceived in, and her godparents are Elizabeth Taylor and Macaulay Culkin. After her parents divorced, the now 23-year-old model, musician, and actress lived with her father until his death in 2009. She only met her mother when she was 13 years old. For such a young person, Paris went through a lot, and she admitted that she was addicted to drugs and that she tried several times to take her own life because of the emotional pain she was experiencing.

Paris has more than 50 tattoos on her body, two of which she dedicated to her brother, while she made as many as nine in memory of her late father.

Although her father left her a fortune, she wants to pursue her own career as a model, musician, and actress.

Michael’s youngest son Biggie, also known as Blanket Jackson, is 19 today and much less prone to public appearances than his older brother and sister. Although the public met him when he was only 9 months old when his father showed him off the balcony of a hotel in Berlin where he was staying.  He shuns the media and has no open profiles on social networks. Even while he was alive his father hid him from cameras and camera flashes by putting masks on his face when they appeared together in public, and after the singer passed away Blanket completely withdrew from public view.

No one even knew what he looked like until he was caught by paparazzi in Calabasas, California a few years ago, and it was learned that he bought a villa worth $ 2.6 million there last year after he came of age.
