She designed the 123 diet to fit into the lifestyle of people who don't have too much time and want an efficient, easy-to-do diet that contains ingredients that won't leave a 'hole' in your wallet after one meal.

The diet plan is based on simple, healthy ingredients, and food is limited and introduced in stages so that you not only lose the desired weight, but you also do not have to give up your favorite meals. But the most important thing is not to starve yourself.

How does the 123 diet work?

Terri-Ann focused on the three stages in which meals are made from fresh and healthy ingredients. She emphasized that it is important to know what to eat and how to eat, so you can skip cooking and order food.

Phase 1

This phase is also known as the 10-day 'boost' and may be the most difficult if your current diet is not based on healthy foods. But by switching to healthier habits for 10 days, you can expect impressive results. You will have a list of limited and unlimited foods, and it will be necessary to eat at least 500 grams of lean meat per day. As some would expect, unlimited fruit consumption is not allowed because of the sugar, but they can be eaten occasionally.

Mostly vegetables and protein are eaten, and sometimes fat-free yogurt in order to consume the minimum amount of carbohydrates and sugar. The best thing about this diet is that in the first week you lose more than four kilograms.

Phase 2

Phase 2 lasts a week and has similar principles as phase 1. However, foods such as lamb or bread, or wholemeal flour, are already introduced here.

Phase 3

The goal is that by the third stage you already have healthy habits and make the right food choices yourself. Also, meat returns to the 'big door' and is very prominent in this phase.

"Once the initial three phases are complete, you can follow the 123 plan that allows you to avoid bad habits and eventually regain the extra pounds you've lost, " Terri-Ann points out.
