NEW: Netflix’s new Harlan Coben thriller series "Fool Me Once"

"Fool Me Once" is the title that attracted by far the most attention among domestic circles and started numerous discussions - from conflicting opinions to praises, all the way to ruthless criticism. The plot of the crime series is based on the popular novel of the same name by Harlan Coben and is a real treat for fans of thrillers and mysteries, constantly providing tense and unpredictable twists.

Namely, Maya Stern (Michelle Keegan) is a former soldier whose life changes radically after the brutal murder of her husband Joe (Richard Armitage). However, when Maya installs a surveillance camera to follow the babysitter looking after her daughter, she discovers something completely unexpected. Joe, who was believed to be dead, appears on the footage. The protagonist struggles to accept the truth, but also to save her family at all costs.

Well, don’t leap to any conclusions just yet. Because, when Maya installs a nanny cam to keep an eye on her young daughter, she is shocked to see a man she recognizes in her house. As we previously wrote that man is her husband, who she thought was dead, is very much alive and okay.

Coben, who will be producing the series alongside Danny Brocklehurst, Nicola Shindler, and Richard Fee, stated: “I’m thrilled and honored to once again collaborate with my uber-talented partners Danny, Nicola and Richard."

The series consists of eight hour-long episodes, each incorporated with intriguing twists and unresolved events. And while critics weren't so kind to Netflix's creation, viewers responded good - flooding Facebook groups, IMDB, and numerous forums with positive comments.

"I didn't expect such a good series from Netflix", "Suspense, twist, and a great ending." The year couldn't have started better", "The series hooked me to TV. I watched it in one day" , were some of the comments from the audience.
