Nobody expected that Meghan and Prince Harry didn't go to Obama's birthday party because of THIS!

Former US President Barack Obama celebrated his 60th birthday in style, inviting family and close friends to a lavish party, including  John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Gayle King, George Clooney, Jay-Z, and Beyonce.

However, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were not on that list despite many expectations that they would appear, and the royal family expert and author of the biography "Harry: A Biography of a Prince", Angela Levin, also explained why.

She believes that Barack and his wife Michelle did not like the way Harry and Meghan treated their family and showed disrespect for Queen Elizabeth, that they feared the bad publicity that spending time with them could bring them and that they now definitely prefer Prince William. 

"Obama has always appreciated Harry, but I'm sure they've seen through Meghan. They may stay close, but not as much as they used to be," she said, adding that Meghan desperately wanted to be invited to the party.

"I was told that Meghan desperately wanted to be a special guest at Obama's party, and she claimed she couldn't come. The fact is, she and Harry were never even on the original list," Angela revealed.

Obama first met Queen Elizabeth in 2009 at the G20 summit, and in 2011 she hosted them during a three-day state visit. On the occasion of the recent death of Prince Philip, Barack paid tribute to him on social media, as did his wife Michelle.

In 2016, they were at a joint dinner with Prince William and Kate Middleton at their home where they even met little Prince George.
