"Obliterated": Netflix's failure of the decade!

What happens in Las Vegas, it is best to stay in Las Vegas - so Netflix could have decided that the eight episodes of the series "Obliterated" should stay on safe and not move from there, ever. 

"Obliterated" follows a special operations team that celebrates neutralizing a nuclear bomb, only to discover that they actually failed. The series has eight episodes, but the reviews are terrible. Nick Zano plays Chad McKnight, a high-spirited seducer from the US Marine Corps SEALs, who suggested that the seven of them, when they are already in Vegas, have a good time on the same night. Drowned in alcohol, supplied with all kinds of drugs they enjoyed, but not for long. 

The foreign media wrote: "Stop looking - the worst series of 2023 is here unless you're a 13-year-old boy, in which case Obliterated is your dream series.". The foreign magazine gave the series one star and the paper's critics wrote: "That pace is so bad and the series so monotonous that the best part was detonating the bomb and ending misery."

The series currently holds a 47% on Rotten Tomatoes. Some viewers were also disappointed. One wrote: "Awful, unbelievably awful series", while another commented: "Very childish, it's gone so far it's not fun anymore".On the other hand, some enjoyed it: "It's not the best series ever, but it's fun. I think people take it too seriously, it's a comedy-drama after all."

Also, the episodes are painfully long, the 55-minute format could have been shortened twice (but then there would be no justification for the expensive production). So by the middle of the third episode, you are already asking yourself, what's bothering John Hurwitz and the team that did an excellent job in the "Cobra Kai" series?

We are not sure if we should suggest you to watch this series or not. Decide on your own.
