Canadian director and screenwriter Paul Haggis was arrested yesterday in Italy on charges of raping a woman whose identity is not yet known.
This event took place in a hotel room, where Haggis kept the woman captive for two days and abused her. He sexually abused her several times during that time. The woman is in the hospital due to injuries, while Paul is being held by the police. His lawyer made a statement after this. “I am convinced that all accusations against Mr. Haggis will be dropped.
