Perfection: Chocolate and hazelnut cheesecake

The ultimate chocolate cheesecake will win you over when you prepare it. Toasting hazelnuts will bring great scents to your kitchen, and paired with your favorite crunchy cookies will create a wonderful base for a rich cream of cheese and chocolate. 

Preparing this cake could take you a little longer, but trust us, the fantastic combination of hazelnuts and chocolate will not let you down in the least.

For the base you will need:

  • 100 g of crushed biscuits
  • 100 g chopped hazelnuts
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 40 g butter

For filling you need:

  • 400 ml of sweet cream
  • 170 g of chocolate
  • 400 g cream cheese
  • 180 g of sugar
  • 2 eggs

Preparation:

  1. Prepare the base by putting the biscuits and toasted hazelnuts in a blender and chopping them.
  2. Add brown sugar to them.
  3. Add melted butter and a little vanilla extract and blend briefly until you get a mass that you can press into the bottom of the mold. Place in the oven at 180 degrees and bake for 5 to 8 minutes.
  4. Put the sweet cream in a bowl and heat it just to boiling.
  5. In a bowl, break up the chocolate, add the sweet cream and let the chocolate melt. Stir and allow to cool.
  6. Mix cream cheese with a mixer and gradually add sugar.
  7. Add one egg at a time, mix and then add the chocolate. 
  8. Transfer the resulting cream to the base and bake for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
  9. Take out and cool the cake well, then serve it sprinkled with cocoa powder and chopped toasted hazelnuts.
