Photographing food constantly can cause weight gain

According to a study by the American Georgia Southern University, people who often take pictures of their food are more prone to gaining weight.

Experts have found that the trend of photographing food before meals increases the likelihood that we will want another serving and that people who do so need more time to feel full.

145 students participated in the research, who were divided into two groups - one received a plate with six cheese crackers, the other with twelve.

The first group, with six crackers, were told to photograph the food before eating, and then to rate how much they liked it and whether they wanted another serving.

The results showed that the group that photographed the food gave higher ratings and that they wanted more because photography changed the way the brain perceives food - taste and smell are more pronounced because the brain focused more on them, writes the Times of India.

In conclusion, the results of the research could be of great importance for all those who want to lose weight.
