Pokémon Scarlet and Purple already have a release date on Switch
Yesterday afternoon, the much-anticipated release of new information about the two new installments of this mythical saga, Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Purple, occurred with the arrival of a new trailer in which some new images of the game were shown in which they were presented with some of the explorable areas of its open world, the arrival of a multiplayer mode for up to four people, new Pokémon, including the two new exclusive legendary of each edition, and even the release of a new trailer.
The first thing that impresses us about this game is the amazing foundation that Pokémon Legends of Arceus has made, not only through the recurrence of the usage of an open world in which we can encounter wild species in a more natural fashion but also through the graphic section itself.
And, without seeing the finished product, it appears like Pokémon Scarlet and Purple will address some of the problems of the previous volume, which suffered from sparsely populated settings in terms of nature and the surroundings.
Going back to the beginning of the games, we will find some more modern cities, including the posts of the Pokémon Centers that we can find in the open areas outside of them, highlighting even some more futuristic technologies, such as those shown in previous installments such as Pokémon Diamond or Pearl.
Another new feature of this new series will be the characters, beginning with the addition of two new teachers, Albora and Turo, whose appearance will vary based on the edition selected.
As a result, while it is stated in the material provided at the present that "each one is carrying out studies on a history of the region that has been passed down from generation to generation," it is not envisaged that this will mean a change in what relates to the core tale of the games.
In terms of new Pokémon, Smoliv, Pawmi, and Lechonk will join the previously seen Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, the three new initial Pokémon that was unveiled last February, as part of an even longer list that is expected for this new expansion of the series.
On the other hand, the business has provided us with a tiny look at the new legendary pokémon known as Koraidon and Miraidon, which will inhabit the covers of the respective games in which they will be available exclusively.
Finally, this trailer has revealed the release date for these two new episodes, which will be available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on November 18, and both Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Purple are already available for pre-purchase in the eShop.
