Prince Harry complained about life's problems
Prince Harry talked about his mental health but social media users started making fun of him.
Prince Harry, the black sheep of the British royal family, has a turbulent and rebellious youth behind him. He was one of the favorite members of the royal family. However, since he and his wife Meghan Markle left Britain and turned their backs on royal functions, his popularity has dropped dramatically.
Harry currently lives in America with his wife and two children and continues to promote the importance of mental health, but he seems to have trouble taking it seriously. The prince got involved in the 'Better Up' project dealing with mental health together with Meghan, along with BetterUp founder Alexi Robichaux and tennis player Serena Williams. They appeared on the virtual panel, and because of what he said there he became the subject of ridicule on Twitter. Namely, Harry called on employers to allow their employees to take more time for themselves during working hours and added that he himself fails to do 'what he likes' due to daily stress.
He said that he knows he should meditate every day and he thinks that the universe teaches him that."Next time something happens I will try to be more persistent and find ways to achieve my ultimate goal. If you have that perspective, anything bad that happens to you, anything that you see as bad, can be good, " said Harry.
Shortly afterward, the hashtag #BETTERshutUpharry began to spread on Twitter, with users of this social network writing posts that are not at all flattering for the British prince.
'What is he talking about? He hasn't had a hard day at work in his whole life ',' Is this a sick joke? He has no idea what the word work means, 'I'm sorry, but I just don't take it seriously anymore', 'There's always time for Prince Harry, real people have to work for a living', were some of the comments.
Recall that both Harry and William often raise awareness about mental health issues, and Harry makes no secret of the fact that he himself had major mental health issues. Prince Harry spoke a few years ago about the trauma he has due to the death of his mother, Princess Diana. He revealed to the British media back in 2017 that he was struggling with anxiety and anger attacks, and he found help in psychotherapy. One thing further marked and traumatized him, and that was walking behind his mother’s coffin at a funeral that accompanied the whole world.
Harry was only 12 years old in that tragic year in 1997 and said that no child should be required to do such a thing, regardless of the circumstances.
