R. Kelly: Conviction of the famous musician

Last September, singer R. Kelly was indicted in federal court for crimes involving racketeering and human trafficking. He is now sentenced to 30 years in prison. Recall - the singer-songwriter was found guilty on charges of racketeering and eight counts of violating Mann's law, which prohibits the transport of "any woman or girl" across state borders for any "immoral purpose."

Numerous controversies follow the life of this singer, and the family of one girl revealed details to the public. He is accused of a shocking list of crimes, and it all started a long time ago in 1994 when he allegedly forged documents and gave bribes, in order to marry 15-year-old Aaliyah, a famous rapper who passed away young. He was 27 at the time.

In June 2008, R. Kelly was accused of filming pornography with children under the age of 15. In the end, he was released, because both, the girl on the video and he, denied that it was them. Now the father of one girl claims that it all started with Kelly promising to help his talented daughter break into the world of show business, which was greeted with incredible happiness because such a strong name will stand behind her.

However, two years after the first meeting with the singer, the unhappy parents no longer saw their daughter, who, according to them, became part of his cult. Although they contacted the police, it turned out that they could not do anything because their daughter is not listed as a missing person, because they know who she is with.

Since then, they have never been able to see their daughter, and the only contact they established was two short messages for Christmas and Mother's Day.

According to these testimonies, R. Kelly keeps several girls isolated from everyone, and controls their phones and all actions in general. However, because of the tricks he uses, they allegedly suffer from Stockholm Syndrome and do not want to leave their abuser.
