Rice croquets stuffed with cheese
Great appetizer for all occasions. They are easy to prepare and the result will delight you - they are best while hot
Croquettes are usually made from potatoes, but there are other versions like this one with rice. Rice croquettes or balls are an ideal snack or appetizer, which you can serve with various sauces.
Ingredients:
- 400 g of fried rice
- 100 g of grated cheese
- 8 cheese cubes

Preparation:
- In a bowl, mix the fried rice and grated cheese until combined.
- Place 4 tablespoons of the fried rice mixture on plastic wrap and flatten with the back of the spoon.
- Put a cube of cheese in the center, then wrap it tightly in plastic wrap, shape the rice into a ball, and completely coat the cheese.
- Repeat with the remaining ingredients; you should have a total of 8 balls of rice.
- Refrigerate the rice balls for at least 1 hour.
- Heat a little more oil in a pan.
- Place the balls and fry until crispy and golden brown.
- Serve warm.
