Routine for weight-loss: Coffee with lemon!

A morning cup of coffee is an integral part of the routine for many of us. But instead of drinking coffee with milk and sugar, from now on you should add a new ingredient: lemon juice. Freshly squeezed, it is a real metabolism enhancer and, in combination with coffee, the perfect drink for the morning. Coffee has many positive effects. Thanks to the antioxidants it contains, it is believed that she acts as an anti-aging agent, she can help with migraines or prevent diseases such as dementia or depression.

In relation to weight loss, her ability to speed up our metabolism is particularly powerful. Coffee gives nerve cells a signal that fat cells should break down fat - and that's how pounds are lost thanks to black coffee.

Lemon, on the other hand, has a detoxifying, anti-inflammatory effect and keeps our immune system in shape. Vitamin C in lemon juice stimulates metabolism and suppresses appetite at the same time. It also helps create the amino acid L-carnitine, which is responsible for burning fat. The combination of coffee and lemon is not only healthy but also perfect for anyone who wants to get rid of extra pounds. Of course, coffee with lemon is not a miracle drink that surpasses all other weight loss rules. In order to lose weight successfully and long term, you should also prioritize a healthy diet and get plenty of exercises. You can only lose weight if you burn more calories than you consume.

As with everything, you should not overdo it with this weight loss drink. You should not drink more than 4 cups of coffee a day (no more than two in a row). With lemon juice, "too much" is almost impossible because it is a natural water-soluble vitamin, which means that the body simply excretes the excess. The recommended daily requirement of an adult is 100 mg of vitamin C, and a squeezed lemon corresponds to about 25 mg. Theoretically, you can drink four lemons a day, which goes well with 4 cups of coffee. But be careful, too much lemon juice attacks the teeth and can lead to heartburn.
