One of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, 54-year-old Salma Hayek, almost got the role of Trinity in the hit movie "The Matrix", but she missed it because of - laziness! The aforementioned science fiction blockbuster from 1999 also received the sequels "The Matrix Reloaded" and "The Matrix Revolution", and the fourth part, so far without a title, will arrive in cinemas and on HBO Max in December 2021.
Visiting the show "Red Table Talk" hosted by actress Jada Pinkett Smith, Salma recalled how both ladies were once finalists for the role in the famous "The Matrix". Hayek jokingly stated that she did not get the role due to a lack of physical dexterity. Recall, Carrie-Anne Moss eventually got to play Trinity.
"Four women were shortlisted. We went through many obstacles, tests, auditions ... They also brought stunt coordinators from Asia. It was a real physical test. I am flexible and agile, but lazy. I never went to the gym and they told me, ‘You have to run!’. I asked, 'Where?' I couldn't even make a circle around the room!"
