SF horror series "From" got a premiere date!

The SF horror series "From" pleasantly surprised with its first season and delivered a more than solid performance, although it received a certain amount of negative criticism for the finale. But after all, the series still remains one of MGM's most successful productions. Now it is already known when the premiere of the second season awaits us. The date will be in April this year. Unfortunately, not much is written about the series.
Locked in a mysterious small town, the residents live as best they can because they can't get out. Once they get in, there is no way out. The typical horror tangle of the "mysterious box" is enhanced by the demons of completely human characters that appear at night and treacherously lurk. But if you don't answer their siren call and let them into the house, life goes on somehow. Of course, if everyone followed the rules, which of course they don't. As a concept, "From" is a typical horror collage of several archetypal elements of the genre, but since the inhabitants also have their inner demons that simply have to come to the surface, the series has its bright moments.

The first season aired last year on Epix. It is not out of place to mention that the series has very high ratings on the Rotten Tomatoes website, with critics reaching 96%, while viewers are at 86%.
As a reminder, the creator of the series, screenwriter and executive producer is John Griffin (Crater), while the director and executive producer is Jack Bender (Lost, Game of Thrones, Mr. Mercedes). Other executive producers include Jeff Pinkner (Lost, Fringe), Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Scott Rosenberg, Adrienne Erickson, Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Mike Larocca and Lindsay Dunn.
In the second season, hidden truths about the nature and terrifying origins of the city finally begin to emerge, although the lives of its inhabitants have been thrown into chaos by the arrival of mysterious newcomers with a bus that arrived in the city at the very end of the first season.
The acting crew is made of Harold Perrineau (Lost, The Rookie, Claws), Catalina Sandino Moreno (The Affair), Eion Bailey (Once Upon a Time), Hannah Cheramy (Van Helsing), Simon Webster (Strays), Ricky He (The Good Doctor), Chloe Van Landschoot (Skin), Corteon Moore (Utopia Falls), Pegah Ghafoori (The Perfect Wedding), David Alpay (Castle Rock), Elizabeth Saunders (Clarice), Elizabeth Moy and Avery Konrad. In the second season, we will also see A.J. Simmons (Reacher), Angela Moore (Nancy Drew), Deborah Grover (Anne With an E), Kaelen Ohm (Hit & Run), and Nathana D. Simmons.
The second season of the "From" series premieres on April 23 and consists of a total of ten episodes.
