Shawn Mendes cancels tour dates

Shawn Mendez, according to the media, was forced to cancel performances and postpone the "Wonder" world tour due to mental health problems. He issued a statement on this topic on Instagram, explaining that first of all, separation from family and friends is much harder for him right now than before.

That's why now, after "a handful of performances" in Canada, he decided to wait a bit when it comes to America and despite knowing that the break will be helpful for him- he made this decision with a heavy heart. “What I have to tell you now breaks my heart, but I will have to postpone the performances scheduled for the next three weeks until further notice. I've been touring since I was 15 and, honestly, it's always been hard for me to go so far away from my friends and family” - began Shawn, who will turn 24 this August.

After a few years that I didn't travel, I thought I was ready to get back on the wheels. However, I was wrong and now I'm on edge because of it, I'm bursting at the seams. I talked to the team, and my doctors too, and I really need some time to devote to myself and my mental health, first and foremost” - he emphasized, then concluded: “As soon as I find out something more, I will contact you. I love you.”
