Sheila 'Prince Charles destroyed my love life'
The singer drove Prince Charles crazy on her first date, and now she blames him for her loneliness.
Prince Charles (73) has not lacked a scandal in his life and many still resent him for cheating on Princess Diana. Now, believe it or not, he is in an awkward situation again. Namely, Sheila Ferguson (74) accused the prince of ruining her love life and it all started when she performed at his 30th birthday celebration and became his favorite singer. A member of the 1970s soul band The Three Degrees regrets ever meeting him. She spoke about her experience with Prince to foreign media.
'He ruined my love life and I have no problem telling him that the next time we meet,' the singer warned. Sheila claims that the connection with the heir to the royal throne has driven men away from her and now at the age of 74 she has to look for a soul mate through various apps.
'It ruined my sex life. I approached a man in a disco and said, 'Would you like to dance?' And he said, 'I can't dance with you, you're Prince Charles' favorite,' " Ferguson said. That was only one in a row of unpleasant situations she had because of Prince.
She claims that men also reject her through internet applications as soon as they find out her name. 'Charles' name would come out immediately. I thought I would never find someone for myself! ', Sheila complained.
According to the media, the prince has been obsessed with the singer since the first meeting and he was also trying to win her over, and she claims she has never had a romance with him. In 2020, Sheila considered quitting to be an ambassador for the Charles Foundation because she felt she was not doing enough humanitarian work.
By the way, Ferguson was married to businessman Chris Robinson from 1980 to 2004, and they got twins Alicia and Alexandria together.
Recall, there are also well-known stories that Prince Charles never loved any woman except Camilla, and that he ended up married to Diana because it suited the royal family. Camilla, a former student of French literature, moved in the same circles as her ex-boyfriend, and in which were Prince Charles and Princess Anne, son, and daughter of Queen Elizabeth II. They met often at social events, but it was not until mid-1971 that Camilla formally met Charles, heir to the British throne.
