Sofia Vergara celebrates 50th birthday

Sofia Vergara started a big celebration - turning fifty! Before she entered the acting world, she wanted to be a dentist. According to Forbes, she is one of the most influential women today. However, her path to success was not easy. She grew up in a Catholic family with her father Julio Enrique, a farmer, and her mother Margarita, a housewife, and she had five brothers and sisters and a large family.
She completed 3 years of dental school. She was two exams away from becoming a doctor of dental medicine, but a cameraman noticed her on the beach, which made her the face of Pepsi for Latin America. At one moment, it seemed to her that everything was going uphill, and then a tragedy happened. Namely, in a kidnapping attempt in Colombia, her brother was killed, so in 1998, together with her family, she moved from Colombia to Miami.
Although it was difficult for her in Miami, being a foreigner, her beauty still brought her to the top, but before that, Joe Gonzalez, her high school sweetheart, saw her and soon proposed to her. Sofia agreed, and two years later they had a son, Manolo, but that marriage was short-lived.

She is known for often dating "bad boys", and after her first marriage, she was in a relationship with Chris Paciello, a gang member. When he was arrested in 2000 for the murder, she wanted to sell the house and pay his bail of 15 million dollars, but that relationship did not last either.
After him, she entered into a relationship with the Colombian drug king, Andres Lopez, and then with Nick Loeb. She got engaged to him in 2012, but they still broke up. In July 2014, she met Joe Manganiello, whom she married, and she herself often states that she regrets not meeting him sooner.
"I got married young and early, but twenty years ago it was normal in Latin America. After a bad marriage, many things changed, today I want something other than love, which is the desire for success, the goal of having my own money, and making something out of my career. I didn't want any man to come into my son's life until I was sure. Now I'm at a turning point in my life and I know what I want, although, in love, you never know. I think after a long search I found what I need and that the end will be like Cinderella's fairy tale, happily ever after," Sofia said in an interview.
