What is the movie about?
The "Black Phone" is an adaptation of Joe Hill's novel from 2004. Finney Shaw, a shy and smart 13-year-old, is kidnapped by a sadistic killer and imprisoned in a soundproof basement from which not even a scream can be heard. When the disconnected phone starts ringing, Finney discovers that he can hear the voices of the killer's previous victims.
These victims are determined to help prevent what happened to them. Ethan Hawke plays the kidnapper, Mason Thames the kidnapped boy, Madeleine McGraw his sister, and Jeremy Davis the father. This is a great choice for mystery lovers. We are sure you will enjoy it.
