Waffles don't have to be Grandma's cake. These are two separate things. Grandma's cake is biscuit, and the waffles are slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect with jam or lightly whipped sweet sour cream and fresh fruit.
Ingredients:
- - 500 g flour + a pinch of salt
- - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- - 400 g butter
- - 250 g of sugar
- - 2 bags of vanilla sugar
- - 1/2 bag of vanilla pudding
- - 6 eggs
Preparation:
- In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar and pudding powder.
- Melt the butter and when it cools down, mix it with beaten eggs.
- Lightly pour this mixture into the flour mixture and mix with a wooden spoon until a fine smooth mass is obtained. Cover everything and leave for a couple of hours.
- Bake the mixture in a waffle maker.
- Drizzle with chocolate, sprinkle with powdered sugar or decorate as desired.
