"I already have a script for the sequel. As soon as I finish working on the film Kitbag, I start shooting Gladiator 2, ”director Ridley Scott told foreign media.

Gladiator 2 will be a sequel to the 2000 blockbuster starring Russell Crowe who played General Maximus Decimus Meridius, a friend of Emperor Marcus Aurelius, who is betrayed and killed by his ambitious son Commodus.
By the way, the film Gladiator won five Oscars, including the one for best film. Ridley Scott does not want to reveal details about the sequel to the cult film, which has been announced for years. According to foreign media, the action should take place twenty years after the events in the original film.
