Turkey is not as common on our table as chicken, and it is extremely healthy and should be included in the diet as often as possible. In other words, it is a "super-food", which can be consumed without thinking about when and how much we ate. Turkey in a sauce of neutral sour cream and dill will delight all true gourmets, and the preparation is very simple.

  • 500 g turkey
  • 500 ml of cooking sour cream
  • 70 g butter
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 bay leaves
  • dill
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • salt, pepper

Cut the turkey into larger pieces, add salt and pepper, then pour a tablespoon of oil and rub everything well into the meat. Fry the meat in heated butter, and when it turns brown, take it out on a warm plate. In the same pan, add finely chopped onion, garlic, and bay leaf, then simmer until the onion softens nicely and becomes glassy. Pour a little warm water if necessary. When the onion is soft enough, return the meat to the pan together with the juice on a plate and pour sour cream over everything. Simmer for another five minutes over medium heat, then sprinkle with chopped fresh dill spice. Serve with a side dish of your choice or a seasonal salad.
