Twitter will warn you when commenting on a post could escalate into an argument
Users who have a habit of commenting on tweets expressing their opinions, often get into various discussions that often turn into quarrels, so Twitter will warn them about it.
Twitter is testing new notifications on the Android and iOS apps that will warn social network users that commenting on the post could turn into a "fierce" conversation.
Judging by the company's announcement, two types of notices are displayed - one that serves as a short reminder that the discussion might become "heated" and the other that reminds users in a slightly more detailed way that a real person is behind the tweet and that the user needs to appreciate a different perspective.

It is currently unknown which of these two notifications Twitter will keep on the social network, but their testing proves that the company is actively trying to reduce harassment and abuse on the platform, reports The Verge.
Twitter significantly updated its "be nice, think twice" system back in May, so it now recognizes potentially offensive tweets more efficiently and sends a special warning to users before publishing them.
