Tyra Banks defends her dress, but fans are making memes: 'You look just like a dinosaur from Jurassic Park!'

Former Victoria's Secret Angel Tyra Banks, 47, and host of American 'Dancing with the Stars' wore a dress that shared opinions across social media.
Tyra opted for a dark red designer dress with oversized fan-shaped sleeves. While some followers said she looked like candy, others weren’t thrilled with her fashion choice.
"I love you, but that's not the dress. Who normally wears such things?"; "I have no words for how awful this is," were some of the comments.
However, most of her fans and viewers of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ started comparing her to a dinosaur from ‘Jurassic Park’.
"Tyra looks like she just killed Newman in Jurassic Park"; "Were velociraptors your inspiration ?"; "Just like Jurassic Park," her followers told her in comments.
Tyra's unusual dress even appeared on the official Twitter of the films 'Jurassic World':
"Who wore it best?" was written on photos of Banks and dinosaurs, and many voted for dinosaurs.

The former model defended her fashion choice on Wednesday’s show ‘The Late Late Show With James Corden’.
"I don't really care because different is what? Better than better," she said. "I don't have time to be pretty and in a normal dress because nobody's going to say anything about a pretty dress," Banks responded to the critics.

For E! News, she said the dinosaur was not on her mind as far as her extravagant appearance was concerned, but she was targeting the look that featured big wing.
"My stylist said 'yes, I didn't know you looked like a lizard before I saw the meme about it,'" Tyra told Corden.
