Former model and wife of musician John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, was one of the favorite celebrity faces known for her jokes and trolling.
Chrissy was declared the "biggest hypocrite" on Twitter because she fights against online abuse, and she is one of the abusers. It all started with controversial starlet Courtney Stodden who revealed on social media that the model sent her offensive messages while she was still a teenager. "I hate you, go to sleep. Forever.” Mrs. Legend wrote to her publicly, then contacted her through the inbox with an even creepier comment,“ I can’t wait for you to die! ” Courtney was only 11 at the time.
Chrissy then wrote a blog apologizing for her past behavior, and among the victims were actress Lindsay Lohan, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, singers Mariah Carey and Avril Lavigne.
“If they told me I could only have one child who would be like Avril, I would choose infertility until I die.” “I don’t want much from Sarah, just to admit she’s guilty and then shoot herself in the face.” Lindsay Lohan adds a few more cuts to her wrists when she sees Emma Stone, ” I’m not surprised Mariah is expecting twins, there are always two to 15 babies growing in her. ”read just some of the hateful tweets Chrissy published.
"I'm not that kind of person anymore," she said in a lengthy post, but many believe her apology came just to keep her culinary business world from collapsing. "Not a day goes by that I don't think and I don't feel the consequences of what I've said in the past. I am deeply ashamed of everything and I apologize to the people I hurt without even realizing it.”Chrissy wrote in the apology. "I was immature and insecure and thought that I should impress everyone with this behavior. I thought I was cool if I was joking with celebs like that. I was just asking for attention. I was not evil in private, but I did not realize it then. Now I understand", she concluded.
Chrissy also has a brand of home care products with Kris Jenner, so all eyes are on the momager, who really cares about public opinion, which is increasingly calling on sponsors to cancel all collaborations with the model.
