Wayne Rooney is moving to another country without his wife Collen and their children.
Wayne Rooney (36) is moving to another country without his wife Coleen (36), with whom he has been since they were 16. As The Sun writes, Wayne got the job of head coach at the DC United football club in Washington.
'Of course, I make all major decisions with my wife. My family will stay in England and they will come to visit me,' said the retired footballer. 'My eldest son is now going to high school and that's why everyone will stay in England, but that's not a problem from our family's point of view,' added Rooney. He says his wife was the first person he spoke to after the manager told him the American club had an offer for him.
'If my wife had told me: 'I don't want you to go there', everything would have been different. I'm in a different place as a human being than four years ago and I'm ready,' he said.

A source told the Daily Mail that Coleen has a clear attitude about Wayne's departure to America and that there is no way for her to move to Washington, where she had a terrible time when she stayed there from 2018 to 2020. Namely, then Rooney played for the club DC United.
'She hated being there the last time. The family is calmer than ever. They have four children who go to school and all of Coleen's family live near her. There's no way she'll give up all that and go live in a place she hates,' the source said.
Wayne traveled to Washington last Sunday and finalized his contract with DC United on Tuesday. However, the whole situation did not affect the relationship of the spouses and, according to the British media, their relationship is better than ever after Coleen won in court .
