Why Kate does not have the title of princess?

The royal family follows certain rules for centuries and often those rules are not clear to everyone, but there is no compromise for them. Many have thus wondered why the late Princess Diana had the title of Princess, while the wife of her son William, Kate Middleton, is still the Duchess of Cambridge.
Kate can’t really get the title of princess because she’s reserved only for women born into the royal family. So Kate became ‘Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge’ after the wedding. The title was awarded to her by Queen Elizabeth II.
On the other hand, after marrying Charles, Diana acquired the title of ‘Her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales’. The princess was not a formal title because if it was, the princess would be in first place in the title. That is how Diana was called a princess by the people and the media who adored her. The deceased princess herself explained that it was not in the full sense of the word, but it always remained and always will.
However, the royal rule that female children born into the royal family bear the title of princess does not always apply. It also depends on the order of the parents in the royal line. So little Lilibet Diana, the daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, will never be a princess, but Charlotte, the daughter of Prince William and Kate, is a princess. Namely, the queen allegedly decided that George, Charlotte and Louis should get their titles of princes and princesses.
Recall, whenever is possible, young princes and princesses accompany their parents on trips, especially overseas, but when they go on tours in Britain, William and Kate usually leave their children at home. Sometimes, because of their busy schedules, they are prevented from doing something that is meant to be done by dad and mom.
“It’s a constant challenge. You hear about it from time to time from moms, even from mothers who don’t work or are torn in all directions while trying to lead both business and family life” Kate stated.
