Your feet are always cold? This is what you can do

One of the most common causes of cold feet is low temperatures. When you are in the cold, the blood vessels in your feet constrict to prevent loss of body heat, which can cause cold feet. Sometimes stress and anxiety can also cause cold feet. One of the common causes of cold feet is poor blood flow.

Anemia, diabetes, hypothyroidism, and nervous disorders are some of the other causes of cold feet and therefore you should consult a doctor to find out what exactly is the cause in your case. If you do not have any health issues, and your feet are still cold, here is how you can solve that problem.

Move

Sometimes cold feet are just a consequence of a sedentary lifestyle, which can interfere with the proper blood flow of the lower extremities, which is why your feet are cold then.

All you have to do in that case is move more. You spend most of your time on your feet, not on the couch. Exercising regularly is a great idea.

Protect your feet

Exposing your feet to low temperatures can result in cold feet and therefore you should protect your feet. Wear socks, preferably some thicker ones, even when you are indoors. Wearing socks is an effective way to prevent the loss of excess body heat through the feet.

Use hot bottles

When your feet get cold, take a bottle and fill it with warm water. Wrap it in a small towel and put it on the floor, then rest your feet on the bottle.

Massage

Heat the olive oil in a small bowl in the microwave oven for a few seconds. Do not overheat the oil to avoid burns. Massage warm olive oil into your feet, advises Healthy builders. When your feet absorb enough oil, wear cotton socks to keep your feet warm.
