Amazing benefits of bay leaf water!

Even for the ancient Greeks and Romans, the laurel was a plant with a special meaning. The Romans accepted it as a symbol of victory, and the Greeks gave a laurel crown as a reward for winning an athletic competition in honor of the god Apollo, and its branches can still be found on the coat of arms Of the Hellenic Republic. And none of this is accidental, but ancient civilizations were aware of how medicinal and valuable laurel is.

It is known that its leaves help fight respiratory problems, its oil is effective in rheumatic ailments, and helps diabetics regulate blood sugar levels. Thanks to its bactericidal, antiseptic and fungicidal properties and the fact that it is rich in vitamins A, C and B6, it is great for boosting immunity.

But also, bay leaf water reduces the feeling of hunger, regulates bowel function and helps speed up metabolism and melt fat deposits.

How to prepare water from bay leaves?

Add a handful of bay leaves to boiling water. Stir for a few seconds, then remove the water from the heat. Allow to cool to room temperature, strain, add a little honey and drink several times a day.

Thanks to its high fiber content, bay leaf water provides a feeling of satiety, regulates bowel function, prevents constipation and speeds up metabolism, and defines the rate at which the body burns fat and processes calories.

This water is great for the work of the intestines and has a strong effect on their motility and digestion of food, which is important in the weight loss process. Namely, it is crucial that our body digests food well and absorbs the necessary nutrients, and due to its high calcium content, laurel is an extremely effective fat burner.

Excretion of excess salt

In the evening, pour one tablespoon of a finely chopped bay leaf with 3 dl of water and cook in a suitable enameled dish, for a maximum of 5 minutes. Pour the resulting liquid into a thermos and leave overnight. In the morning, strain the liquid into another container and distribute the resulting mixture throughout the day. Drink in small sips, and never drink all at once. You can repeat this treatment after seven days.

If frequent urination occurs, it is a sign that the bay leaf has begun to dissolve salts, which can irritate the bladder. The real results of this treatment will be visible only in ten days when you will feel much lighter, and the pain in the joints will disappear.
