The diva of the British music scene 11 years after her tragic death continues to attract the attention of the audience and the media. That is the reason why her life will be captured on the big screen, but this time in a feature film.

The documentary about the life of Amy Winehouse, entitled 'Amy', which was released in 2015, achieved great success around the world. He showed the singer's lavish talent, but also her long-term struggle with vices. A lot of attention attracted Amy's relationship with her father, Mitch Winehouse. In this documentary, their relationship is portrayed in a negative light.

In the feature film 'Back to Black', according to the British media, Mitch will be portrayed in a different way, but for now, there are no additional details. The script of the feature film is kept in strict secrecy by Studiocanal, but it is known that the producers are looking for the main actors. According to the first information, the director hopes to find someone relatively new in the acting world. Many hope that this film will portray Winehouse's life in a realistic way because Johnson was her close friend.

The script for the film 'Back to Black' was written by Matt Greenhalgh, who collaborated with Taylor-Johnson on the film 'Nowhere Boy', while this work will be produced by Alison Owen and Debra Hayward, together with Tracy Seaward.
Although earlier was rumored that Lady Gaga could be in the main role, it was soon denied that the famous singer will even appear in this movie.

'I wouldn't mind betting that it is going to be an unknown, young, English — London actress that looks a bit like Amy,'  Mitch Winehouse told British tabloid The Sun.
'What we want is someone to portray Amy the way she was... the funny, brilliant, charming and a bit horrible person. There's no point in me making a movie because I'm her dad. But to get the right people to do it, that is very important for me,' Amy's father added. Amy Winehouse died at the age of 27 from the effects of alcohol poisoning.
