Are you struggling with oily hair?

It is completely normal for human hair to become greasy after a while, which we can 'thank' to the oils secreted by our scalp, and sometimes to excessive use of hair products. Some people, however, have more problems with the scalp becoming oily, which can be influenced by a number of factors - stress, menstruation, hormones, and food.

However, there are several tricks, or rather ingredients, with which this problem can be alleviated, if not completely eliminated.

1. Lemon juice

Lemon juice is one of the most effective ways to get rid of greasy hair. It is acidic in nature, so it works well on oily hair, and it is also great against dandruff. To use lemon juice on your scalp, squeeze the juice of two lemons and mix it with a cup of water. Apply the liquid to the hair and massage it into the scalp, then let it absorb for about 10 minutes. After that, wash your hair with lukewarm water.

2. Tea bath

Green tea or black tea leaves can be used for a hair tea bath. The acidic nature of caffeine will make your hair shiny, and give it volume and strength. Make a bath with one or two bags of green or black tea, which should be poured over with hot water. When it cools down, massage the liquid into your hair and let it sit for 15 minutes, then rinse.

3. Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is another ingredient that you definitely have in your kitchen, and it can help with problems with oily hair. It is used to remove excess oil from the scalp, and it is necessary to dilute one cup of oil in one liter of water. Wash your hair with this liquid, and after washing, do not dry your hair with a hair dryer, but leave it to dry naturally.

4. Baking soda

Everyone knows about the magical properties of baking soda, and it can also be used on the scalp to remove excess oil and dirt. Baking soda is an excellent exfoliant, and its absorbent properties make it a good home remedy for removing excess oil from the scalp. Mix two to three tablespoons of baking soda with enough water to make a paste-like mixture. Rub the paste all over your hair and scalp, and after 15 minutes, rinse with lukewarm water.
