Ashley Judd was attacked for Botox, and the truth behind the aesthetic procedures is not pleasant at all

Hollywood star Ashley Judd (52) has been the target of condemnation because of her face, which has changed a lot after Botox. The American actress explained why she made corrections on her face to that extent.

Ashley was criticized for her swollen face, especially when she appeared in a video recorded for the campaign of her friend and US Senator Elizabeth Warren in February last year.

"What did the beautiful Ashley Judd do to herself? Dear God, she's swollen," "I've heard of plastic surgery, but this is some news to me," "What the hell happened to Ashley Judd's face, " are some of the comments below photos on Instagram.

Because of the harsh criticism directed at her, Ashley decided to face her critics on social media and revealed that she had been battling unbearable migraines for more than four months, which forced her to stop exercising and started taking Botox as medicine.

- What I know is that I have been suffering from migraines for more than a year. It is the third most common disease in the world. Did I go for Botox? It is the standard treatment for the disease I have. My insurance pays for 31 injections every 12 weeks.

- Some friends suggested that I not publish this medical fact because it can be used against me, but I think I have to be honest. - the actress said.

She also referred to the comparison of her appearance from a few years ago with that of today.

What I know is that misogynists killed me on Twitter, comparing the new me with the idealized one before growing up. My conventionally thin, athletic, beautiful body and thinner face are just one side of the same patriarchal coin - Ashley pointed out and added:

Speak up anyway. They will shoot you with arrows, but your voice and the body from which it comes out are beautiful, brave, strong, and necessary.
