BEAUTY SHOWS HOW TO PHOTOSHOP FOR SOCIAL NETWORKS: In an instant, she enlarges her breasts, puts on fake abs
Huda Kattan, an influencer and owner of the famous brand 'Huda Beauty', claims that she is tired of over-editing photos and using filters.
Huda Kattan is the founder of the popular cosmetics brand 'Huda beauty'.
She recently decided to become transparent when it comes to using photoshop and filters on her own photos. She posted a video in which she shows the entire process of editing a photo, from retouching the face to breast augmentation and putting on false abdominal muscles.

‘I’m tired of ‘over-editing ’, photoshopping, and not showing the real look. This is not such a perfect photo from our shoot for the GloWish campaign and I thought it would be very interesting to show you what it would look like if we chose to use photoshop and sell unrealistic standards of beauty. '
Huda's followers mostly reacted positively and praised Huda's actions, as well as her natural, unretouched appearance.
The 37-year-old make-up blogger doesn’t want this idea to stay just with her, but for other influencers and beauty brands to emphasize when their photos are enhanced and processed. She believes that without this, people are sold 'lies', which can have a detrimental effect on the self-confidence and self-esteem of young people who follow such content the most.
Huda admitted in a video on Instagram that she was 'tired of filters and photo editing because they turned beauty standards into something completely unrealistic.'
‘When will we start being real? I would certainly feel better if I saw a caption on social media that the photo had been edited, ' she added. Huda explained that there is no problem with using filters in general, but she minds them when they are used to such an extent that the person is unrecognizable. The moment when 'unrealistic and unhealthy standards of beauty' begin to be created because of filters, then one should react. She believes that this is happening right now and has committed to posting photos on social media that indicate that they have been processed or that filters have been used, and on the Instagram profile of her new skincare line, Wishful Skincare, she only publishes clean photos without any filters.
Beauty is a tool for empowerment, not just to be used for profit and promotion, while its positive power and impact are ignored. The beauty industry has been used for too long to profit from human insecurities, and filters and retouched photos are a big part of it.
Huda herself admits that she is also part of the problem, due to the use of botox and fillers, but that she now wants to be part of the solution. Now she has decided to speak up because it is time to 'put an end to this and stop thinking too much about how we look in the photos.' Huda is among the few influencers who decided on such a move, and perhaps too late because social networks are flooded with this problem, which many have pointed out, but Huda remains true to her promise for now.
