Christian Bale: I would play Batman again

An actor who played the legendary superhero in the trilogy "The Dark Knight", told Variety that, despite certain rumors, no one asked him to return to that role. However, if Nolan asked him to become Batman once again, Bale claims that he would accept his proposal immediately.

I had a pact with Christopher Nolan. We said, ‘Let's make three movies if we're lucky enough to do that. And then let's leave, so we don't linger too long.’ If Chris told me that he had another story to tell and that he wanted to tell it to me, I would agree” - the actor points out.

Bale and Nolan worked together on the films "Batman Begins", "The Dark Knight" and "The Dark Knight Rises". The last two earned over a billion dollars per film. We are currently seeing Christian in the movie "Thor: Love and Thunder" where he plays a role in which he once again showed his incredible power of transformation.

Christian Bale is known for various roles, most of which required physical transformations that this actor took very seriously, losing and gaining such large amounts of weight - depending on the needs of the characters he played. Bale first appeared on the big screen in 1987 in the fantastic film "Mio in the Land of Faraway", although his name became better known in the world of acting only after he played Jim Graham in Steven Spielberg's "Empire of the Sun". Bale was 13 at the time.

The engagement that made him famous is the incarnation of Patrick Bateman in the movie "American Psycho". It was the beginning of a great career that is still going on, and which is filled with numerous transformations of appearance that transparently show the actor's dedication to working.

The talented actor has so far lost 276 kilograms due to his roles in films, which is a number that will surely grow in the next few years. Although he was told several times that it didn't matter if he would gain weight for some roles, because it is possible to fake kilograms with make-up and equipment from the film set, he still gained weight - simply because he thinks that's the way it should be.
