Did you watch "The In Between" movie?

Paramount released "The In Between" - a romantic film with a supernatural twist. The director of the film is Arie Posin (The Chumscrubber, The Face of Love), while the script is written by Marc Klein (Serendipity, Mirror Mirror).

At the very beginning, the story makes sense, and the plot moves well to grab our attention as viewers, but it makes a big mistake as it progresses. Is it a sci-fi movie about a ghost or just the trauma of a girl because she lost her boyfriend? Maybe that's how the producer wanted to get us to watch him, but he created a repulsion in us because nothing mattered at the very end.

So this is a supernatural love story that centers around a teenage girl, Tessa (Joey King), who, after spending most of her childhood bouncing around foster families, doesn't believe she deserves a love story of her own. Everything changes after she has a chance encounter with Skyler (Kyle Allen), a boy from the next town who is a true romantic.

As her heart begins to open, tragedy strikes when a car accident takes Skyler's life, while Tessa survives. She searches for answers after the accident, soon believing that Skyler is trying to reconnect with her from the afterlife. With the help of her best friend and a newfound belief that love never dies, Tessa tries to contact Skyler one last time, to give their love story the epic ending it deserves. The idea of showing how the relationship between them began and how it is in the present after the accident is excellently portrayed, but the loss is definitely the supernatural element itself, which is not in her head, but real.

Starring Joey King (The Kissing Booth) as Tessa and Kyle Allen (West Side Story) as Skylar. Other roles are played by Kim Dickens (Gone Girl), John Ortiz (Silver Linings Playbook) and Celeste O'Connor.
