Eva Mendes thought her face was "weird"?!

In a recent post on Instagram, the amazing actress and fashion designer posted a photo of her from nearly 20 years ago. Nothing strange about that, right? Well, it wouldn’t be unless she used it to express the insecurities she felt about her looks when she was a young girl.

Today, Eva is considered one of the most beautiful women in the world, but despite her fame and status, she proved that she is as human as everyone else and that no matter how popular you are, you can still have insecurities and be dissatisfied.

The picture was from 2003 when she filmed a movie Once Upon a Time in Mexico and to us, it looked completely normal! However, she pointed out how she was very insecure about her whole look at that time period! She thought her face was “weird” and that she had a strange bone structure! Wow, who would’ve thought that a sex symbol ever felt that way!

Later in the post, she also mentioned how even though at the time she didn’t like her features now she wished she had them, and if you ask her why she posted the photo, even Eva herself is not sure. She made a joke saying:

“Maybe it’s if you hate a photo of yourself wait 20 years then you’ll love it. ‘Youth is wasted on the young’ -Oscar Wilde”
