Ewan McGregor spoke for the first time about an affair that destroyed his family.
When it became known that actor Ewan McGregor was in a relationship with 13-year-younger colleague Marty Elizabeth Winstead, his daughter Clara publicly called her ‘garbage’.The reason for this is the fact that Ewan had an affair with young Mary, whom he met in 2017 on the set of the series 'Fargo’ while he was still married to the mother of his children Eva Mavrakis.
Ewan divorced his ex-wife Eve in 2020 after 22 years of marriage, and he filed for divorce two years earlier. He was already in a relationship with Mary. On the other side, Mary divorced Riley Stearns, 34, after seven years of marriage.

Ewan and Eva's divorce was hard for their four children and it was recently revealed that the actor had married his former mistress. The couple got married in secret in April this year, and the news was reported by an unnamed source for People magazine.
‘ It was a little wedding for family and close friends. They had an outdoor ceremony, it was nice. They are a cute couple. They are secretive and enjoy their life in the canyon. The actor did not speak about his affair and divorce so far, so many were surprised when he finally commented in an interview on the damage his affair had done to his family.
‘Divorce in the family is like a bomb that explodes and blows everyone’s lives. We are still recovering,' McGregor told GQ.
Ewan recently appeared in the film ‘You Sing Loud, I Sing Louder’ starring with his 26-year-old daughter Clara who also wrote the screenplay for the film. It’s a film in which a father takes his daughter to rehab, and it’s partly inspired by Clara’s rehab from the pill addiction.
