"For All Mankind" series takes us on the Red planet!
Season 3 takes us to the Red Planet and introduces a new competitor!
Apple TV Plus first released the full trailer for the third season of their sci-fi series "For All Mankind". This season takes us to an alternate version of the 1990s, where the next goal/frontier of the space race is the Red Planet. However, as the trailer reveals, this time both global superpowers will have another competitor, as multi-billionaire Dev Ayesa (Edi Gathegi) decides that star exploration should be a private enterprise. The trailer also shows how different teams of astronauts will deal with the adverse conditions on the Red Planet. Apparently, the series will continue to explore how one change in history can change the course of life for the entire human race.
The new season of the alternate reality series takes viewers into a new decade, kicking off the early 90s with a race to a new planetary frontier: Mars. The Red Planet becomes a new front in the space race not only for the US and the Soviet Union but also for an unexpected new entrant with a lot to prove and even more at stake. Our characters compete with each other as their ambitions for Mars cause conflict and their loyalties are tested, creating a pressure cooker that is about to reach its climax.
The returning cast includes Joel Kinnaman, Shantel VanSanten, Jodi Balfour, Sonya Walger, Krys Marshall, Cynthy Wu, Casey Johnson, Coral Peña and Wrenn Schmidt. Also, a new face among the main cast is the aforementioned Edi Gathegi (The Blacklist, House) as Dev Ayesa, a charismatic visionary. The actor fills the void left by former cast members Sarah Jones (Tracy) and Michael Dorman (Gordo), who were last seen in the season two finale.
The episodes of the third season of "For All Mankind" arrived on Apple TV Plus on June 10 so you can enjoy and watch them!
