Fruity French toast for everyone!
French toast - the perfect breakfast for all gourmets, especially if we add a few small changes to the traditional recipe and make it healthy.
Everything you need:
- 6 slices of healthier and less caloric bread
- 2-3 egg whites
- 100g of berries or fruit of your choice
Preparation:
Place the bread directly in a lightly floured pan, then pour over the egg whites. After the egg whites combine with the bread, tighten and get a pale yellow color, turn the bread in the pan.
When the French toast is ready, serve two slices on a plate and sprinkle them with berries as desired.
This recipe has much less sugar and calories than the traditional one and is significantly richer in protein, which makes this breakfast ideal for a healthy start to the day.
