Greek salad-perfect refreshment!
Perfect for hot days, Greek salad easily turns into a main dish with the addition of pasta.
We may not be able to send you on a trip to a sunny Greek beach, but we can teach you how to make the perfect Greek salad. Greek salad is a bit different from the others, and with the addition of pasta or bulgur, it easily turns into a main dish.
By itself, Greek salad is a great snack, and we will be happy to eat it with barbecue or other meat dishes. Also, Greek salad easily becomes the main dish with the addition of carbohydrates. It is up to you to choose what you want to add, and we suggest integral pasta, bulgur or maybe quinoa in order to get a little more protein for satiety in addition to a healthy dose of carbohydrates.

Ingredients for Greek salad:
- 4 tomatoes
- 2 cucumbers
- 1 pepper
- 1 head of purple onion
- 15 black olives
- 250 g feta cheese
- 1 lemon
- Olive oil
- Dried oregano and basil
- Optional: pasta, bulgur, quinoa, chickpeas ...
Preparation of Greek salad:
- Wash the tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers and cut them into slightly larger cubes.
- Cut the onion into rings.
- In a bowl, mix a few tablespoons of olive oil, the juice of one lemon, oregano and basil.
- Mix chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and onions, and olives. Add pasta, bulgur, or other toppings if desired.
- Pour the mixture with a mixture of olive oil, lemon and spices and mix everything well.
- You can add feta cheese in several ways. In addition to being able to cut it into cubes, you can serve one piece of feta cheese on top of the salad and pour olive oil over it and sprinkle it with spices, just like the Greeks do.
- Allow the salad to cool and stand for about 15 minutes before serving and enjoy the refreshment.
