Homemade mask for straight hair

Permanent hair straightening can be an expensive and harmful thing for your hair. Whether it is a temporary 'ironing' of hair or treatment performed by professional hairdressers, no precaution can save your hair from a certain degree of damage. Fortunately, there are many natural ways to straighten hair at home. Some include masks, others promise such good results that you wonder why you would go to the hairdresser at all. Such is the mask of flax seeds. Natural flaxseed gel in combination with other quality ingredients will straighten your hair without damaging it.

This mask helps soften and straighten hair. It is made of protein-rich treatment, and keratin, which is a natural compound present in hair, is nothing but protein.

You need:

  • a cup of water
  • 2 tablespoons of flax seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 2 teaspoons of castor oil

Procedure:

Pour a cup of water into the pot and add two tablespoons of flax seeds. Let simmer for a few minutes on low heat until the flax releases its natural gel. Remove from the heat and strain the seed gel. Add honey, lemon juice, and castor oil to the resulting gel. Mix everything well.

Comb your hair and lightly moisturize it, preferably with a spray. Apply the mask part by part on the strands, making sure to cover the entire length - from root to tip. Gently run your hands over each strand of hair, massage the strands and comb your hair again. The next step is to leave the mask on for 30 minutes. You do not need to tie her, fold her in a towel, or do something similar.

Rinse the mask, or natural keratin from the hair, first with colder water, pulling the strands down to further straighten them. Do not wash it with shampoo, but apply conditioner and rinse it off.

Dry your hair naturally, do not treat it with a towel, because it can pick up the necessary moisture from the hair. For best results, you can repeat this treatment once a week.
