HTC offers the Desire 22 Pro as the "mobile for the metaverse"

HTC is no longer the outstanding mobile firm that it once was. Despite having a modest smartphone lineup, it has a minor market share.

However, with the Vive platform, it has become one of the leading players in virtual reality gadgets, and it is evident that it wishes to capitalize on its experience in the area.

Go seeking its place in that untapped metaverse that companies like Meta aspire to make into the next big communication platform.

The terminal is compatible with HTC's Vivese environment, allowing users to access communities without using VR goggles.

Of course, it is also compatible with proprietary devices such as the HTC Vive Flow VR and may be used in conjunction with the device to explore experiences, view movies and TV, or just access virtual reality applications.

The Desire 22 Pro, on the other hand, is a premium mid-range smartphone with a 6.6-inch screen, a native resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of storage.

The phone comes with a 4,520mAh battery with reverse wireless charging. Its rear camera contains three sensors: a 65-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The front-facing camera is 32 megapixels.

The Desire 22 Pro is available for reservation for an exchange price of $404 and will be released on July 1. HTC will also run a campaign in which you can buy the phone and the Vive Flow VR gadget together for a discounted price.
