New documentary series on Netflix: ROBBIE WILLIAMS

Netflix has released several fantastic documentary series so far, and it seems that they will continue in the same vein with the release of a new docu-series about Robbie Williams. This singer-songwriter has been entertaining people all over the world for 3 decades and it looks like he won't be stopping anytime soon.

This series will offer viewers a completely different view of Robbie and you will be able to peek into more intimate parts of his life. Those parts have never been seen before. The documentary will deal with his rise to popularity and fame and the problems he faced at the very beginning of his career. We could see his beginnings in the band Take That, the decision to leave it, and the beginning of a solo career that continues today. Robbie stated in one of the interviews that he did not have any rules when deciding what to show because he thought that even what would be shown, at times, was not enough.

The first trailer, as well as an announcement for the documentary, was released back in September, and the trailer contains a clip in which Robbie Williams says "I really wish I had something else to do" just a moment before going on stage. The trailer itself already sets high expectations for viewers, with claims that viewers will be shocked, appalled, surprised, intrigued, amazed, fired up and excited. The final trailer was released recently, on the official X (formerly Twitter) profile and on Netflix.

The docu-series will be available to watch exclusively on Netflix from today, so keep in mind that this is another one of Netflix's limited series that you should watch as soon as possible. The director of the series is Joe Pearlman, who has been nominated for EMMY and BAFTA awards, and Ridley Scott Associates and director Asif Kapadia, winner of the Academy Award, BAFTA and Grammy, are responsible for the production.

Speaking in the trailer, Williams says, “The thing that could have destroyed me was the thing that made me successful. Touch the fire, push when it says pull and see if you survive."

All four episodes will be released on Netflix today, on November 8, 2023.
