The new horror film "Five Nights at Freddy's" is out!

The horror movie was expected to start with an excellent 50 million dollars in the domestic market in North America, but the reality turned out to be even better: 78 million dollars in that market and another 52 million in the rest of the world - a total of 130 million dollars!

Already, the film is more than profitable considering the budget of only 20 million dollars, but it doesn't hurt that it also broke some records. "Five Nights at Freddy's"  has the best opening for horror this year in America, putting it ahead of the bigger franchises, "Scream 6"  ($44.4 million) and "Honorable Mention II" ($32 million).

These numbers are better if we take into account that the film was simultaneously on the Peacock streaming service. The reviews of the film are terrible and it only has 25% on Rotten Tomatoes, but apparently, that doesn't matter because the ratings and audience interest are excellent.

Impressions are divided!

Josh Hutcherson stars as a security guard on the night shift who has a seemingly simple task - to guard the former restaurant during the night. But no one told him that killer robots were waiting for him there, so he needed to survive those five days.

"My daughter and I had a great time. The scary robots looked real, just like in the game. The only shame is that the movie is rated PG-13. But that makes sense because it's popular with kids. All in all, a great family horror movie. The story is great," said another fan.

"I read bad reviews, but I didn't want to listen to them. My children wanted to watch it and it kept my attention the whole time. The story is fantastic," said the third."I grew up playing FNAF and enjoyed the movie. True, it has a few flaws and could have been better. But honestly, it's a great movie because it laid the foundation for future FNAF movies. You'll have a great time if you're a fan of the games," he wrote.
