Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
The absolute top of the range of this new generation...
We are now proceeding to the absolute pinnacle of this new generation, the anticipated S23 Ultra, a phone with technical specs that will not leave you unimpressed and that will be able to carry out any task, no matter how demanding, with the greatest of ease. Not unexpectedly, while it shares some characteristics (such as the SoC) with its "small" brethren, there are other aspects that demonstrate why the Ultra is superior to all others.
Let's start with its 6.8-inch screen (0.2 inch larger than the S23+), which is also designed with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel but has a QHD+ resolution (3,080 × 1,440 pixels in a 21:9 aspect ratio). It also includes a dynamic refresh rate, but with a broader range, ranging from one to 120 hertz. It is also protected from bumps, falls, scratches, and other hazards thanks to Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Inside, we discover the same integrated as in its predecessors, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, which we are eager to see in action. It can be paired with 8 or 12 gigabytes of RAM, as well as 256 or 512 gigabytes or one terabyte of storage for people who require maximal capacity.
We noticed no differences when examining the connectivity choices of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, which includes 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and UWB (Ultra WideBand). There is a unique USB-C port for everything that requires a cable, which is worth the same for a tear as for a tear, with good results in all circumstances. It is hardly unexpected that it has been embraced as the industry standard (except for Apple, of course).
We now move on to the photographic section, where the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra once again distinguishes itself from its generation peers. Its main camera consists of four lenses, the most notable of which is the projected debut of the ISOCELL HP2, a sensor capable of reaching 200 megapixels but shooting at 12 megapixels by default (this is something that we can adjust to our preferences).
It is supplemented by an f/1.7 wide-angle lens (FOV 85). The other three parts are a 12-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide (FOV 120) lens and two 12-megapixel optical zoom telephoto lenses, one 3x (FOV 36) f/2.4 and the other 10x (FOV 11), which is slightly less bright due to the f / 4.9 number.
The assessment of its cameras concludes with the front, which has an angle (FOV 80 ) of 12 megapixels and an aperture of f / 2.2.
As you can expect, such a beast must have a voracious appetite, which is why Samsung has included a 5,000-milliamp battery with 45-watt fast charging and 15-watt induction wireless charging. According to Samsung data, a 45-watt converter and a 5-amp USB-C connection will charge a phone to 65% in around 30 minutes.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, like its generational siblings, can now be reserved on the Samsung website.
